Just wondering if the new bridge construction is going to schedule???? For the past month since the old bridge was removed I have only seen one lone sole working away.....seems like big job for 1 man!!!!! Plus did they need to take down the old one so soon?

A message from WCC: I am pleased to inform you that works on the Piha Domain Footbridge are due to commence after Easter. The footbridge will remain closed until July 2008. Signs will be erected at either end of the bridge advising of this and flyers will also be distributed to key locations in the Piha Community this week.

Did the engineers who designed this forget that people do carry surf boards at a surf beach and do push prams. Come on WCC the temporary time is up.
